Matthew's Way with Words
I think that is such a great quote ... and so true. Anyone who has had substance abuse problems or any other addictions can certainly attest to the truth of it. Good insight, Matthew. He said that in the post linked below.

Not only are the English funny...they are also incredibly profound.
I'm off to enjoy some crumpets and tea in the sincere hope that I shall return profoundly humorous. If I return and I ask you to call me "Neville" - you'll know that I have found the Englishman's secret!

Jon, crumpets are not that impressive once you try them.
Rather bland things. They are OK with marmalade, but I would'nt bother. Stick to dohnuts.
God Bless
Matthew

Are you feeling patriotic today, Rose?

I like the idea of sticking to donuts, bro. Matthew. In fact, I think they like the idea of sticking to me, as well!!

You're welcome, Matthew. :~)
Jon,
Yes, they can be funny and profound. I have heard that crumpets aren't very good. Matthew told me!
Matthew,
Yes, I am feleing very patriotic, but I have sworn off donuts. I like them too much.
Donut Sticker-To-er,
Again, you are so creative, man! Thanks for the fun! :~)
