Give me a greeting when you visit. I appreciate nice-ness.You can address another blogger ... and even disagree with them, that is fine. All I ask is that you leave censure and hand-slapping to me. Speak up ... about the posts. Be nice! Earl - As I write, teach Sunday School, I think of people like you in my audience. It gives me a sanity check of what I am saying. Would what I say pass the "crap" or sanity check of you or others that I know?KC - Colin Maxwell - Loren - Your posting is full of many thought provoking points and excellent, searching questions ... you're really a very profound thinker. Earl - You have a fun blog! Joe - You are my favorite theological blogger. Jeremy - Good job ... Bye. Todd - With blogs like this one there is plenty to be hopeful for in the blogsphere. Matthew - Its nice to read an edifying Christian blog ... You are so level-headed. Mark - You're real! The blogosphere needs more real people like you around. Loren - I'll bet you stay up late nights thinking about all the theology that must be swimming through your head. I just want to say that it's great to see the ways in which God is challenging you, and using you to minister through your blog. The things you, and others here, have shared, are very thought provoking!

Thursday, December 20, 2007Levi Matthew is ONE!One year ago I gave birth to a little boy, the fourth of our children. I can't believe it has been a year already. While I don't normally post family pictures on the internet, I wanted my friends in blogdom to have a look at this Christmas tree destroyer! We just love him. Happy Birthday, Levi...

Ahhh! You are brave. Many years ago with a 4, 2 and 1 year-old we actually constructed the tree in a playpen to avoid the destruction.
Happy birthday to Levi and a merry Christmas to the entire clan!

I have found that my cats have been for destructive regarding Christmas trees than my two kids had ever been!! I hope Levi has a wonderful birthday!! I still can't believe my oldest has had 22 so far and my girl has had 17!! It just seems like yesterday they both were 1!!
Merry Christmas to you and your family!!

Happy Birthday Levi!
Hello Rose,
Maybe he will grow up to be a great preacher of the gospel like John Wesley, George Whitefield and C. H. Spurgeon!
Have a blessed Christmas with your family, Rose!

Bob,
Thanks for that! I am a Beatles fan and that song holds a very special childhood birthday memory for me. How nice that I clicked on that link on Levi's birthday. (I only now got around to commenting back to you.) He had a great birthday - he loved all the people here. Thanks again.
Thank you, Mark. How nice of you.
Dawn Brian and Earl,
Thanks a bunch for the well wishes.
I HOPE EVERYONE had a wonderful Christmas with your families.
