Give me a greeting when you visit. I appreciate nice-ness.
You can address another blogger ... and even disagree with them, that is fine. All I ask is that you leave censure and hand-slapping to me.
Speak up ... about the posts.
Be nice!
Earl - As I write, teach Sunday School, I think of people like you in my audience. It gives me a sanity check of what I am saying. Would what I say pass the "crap" or sanity check of you or others that I know?
KC - You're a great sister ;-)
Colin Maxwell - I enjoyed your post and desire to think these things out.
Loren - Your posting is full of many thought provoking points and excellent, searching questions ... you're really a very profound thinker.
Earl - You have a fun blog! I really appreciate what you're doing.
Joe - You are my favorite theological blogger.
Jeremy - Good job ... Bye.
Todd - With blogs like this one there is plenty to be hopeful for in the blogsphere.
Matthew - Its nice to read an edifying Christian blog ... You are so level-headed.
Mark - You're real! The blogosphere needs more real people like you around.
Loren - I'll bet you stay up late nights thinking about all the theology that must be swimming through your head. I just want to say that it's great to see the ways in which God is challenging you, and using you to minister through your blog. The things you, and others here, have shared, are very thought provoking!
Come now, and let us reason together, says the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
(Isaiah 1:18)

I was thinking about adding that to the end of the post right after I posted it earlier:
If you watch all the way to the end, you will see our own Missy..."

Now that video was impressive!

Rose, I've actually saved more of the paintings in this video as possible avatars. But I feel like a Picasso most days. :)
This vid is rather hypnotic...

God's greatest creation. Case closed.

I sorta went ... "Meh" - I am not terribly artistic I guess. (Hi Rose!)

Hi Bob,
Yes, I thought so too. It was hypnotic, as Missy said.
Steve,
Heehee :~) Thanks for stopping by.
Daniel?
Come on! You didn't find it entrancing? OK. :~) I was an art history minor - I suppose I have a greater appreciation than most for something like that.
How do you say "Meh"? Is like "hmmm... no biggy" in Canadian?
It is so good to see you, Daniel.
By Rose~, at 1/13/2009 11:18 AM
Rose, I think "Meh" is a yiddish interjection, meaning lackluster or something like that. If it isn't, it sounds like it ought to be. ;) I picked it up from one of the Greek fellows I know who says, "Meh" when a thing doesn't immediately grab his attention. I don't think it is Canadian per se, but then again, I am in something of a liberal Canadian fish bowl, as it were, so it could well be Canadian and I just am too unsophisticated to know it.
I tried reading through your 200 plus comments on a previous meta, but gave up after sixty or seventy comments, this one looked more fresh anyway - ;)

Thank you for the lesson, Daniel :~)
Yeah, someitmes it is hard even for me keeping up with all the comments on some posts - and it's my blog.
