Give me a greeting when you visit. I appreciate nice-ness.
You can address another blogger ... and even disagree with them, that is fine. All I ask is that you leave censure and hand-slapping to me.
Speak up ... about the posts.
Be nice!
Earl - As I write, teach Sunday School, I think of people like you in my audience. It gives me a sanity check of what I am saying. Would what I say pass the "crap" or sanity check of you or others that I know?
Todd - With blogs like this one there is plenty to be hopeful for in the blogsphere.
Matthew - Its nice to read an edifying Christian blog ... You are so level-headed.
Mark - You're real! The blogosphere needs more real people like you around.
Loren - I'll bet you stay up late nights thinking about all the theology that must be swimming through your head. I just want to say that it's great to see the ways in which God is challenging you, and using you to minister through your blog. The things you, and others here, have shared, are very thought provoking!
Come now, and let us reason together, says the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. (Isaiah 1:18)

Rose, I can't remember who said if first, but blogging becomes a chore as soon as we start posting for no better reason than because we haven't posted in a while. Blogging is engaging when we have something to say, but when we are just posting out of a sense of obligation, it looses its edge.
Rest up, drink some hazelnut coffee, with hazelnut cream, read some books and enjoy.
I understand, Rose . . . but don't go forever --- enjoy the time off.
Like Daniel though, I think blogging should primarily be a place where you just "burst" out your thoughts . . . and let the ball roll from there (if there is a sense of obligation and compulsion, then there really isn't freedom ;-).
You're getting warmer, you've had two Calvinists, now a "Reformed guy," before you know it you be to full fledged "non-Calvinist," and then finally to Free Grace ;-).
I wanted tp post earlier but I was at work & could not. I fully understand your feeling, you probably noticed I havden't posted on my humble blog for a month & a half. I just haven't had anything of note to day, & so I haven't. But oh how we'd miss you, but if you are tired, you may need to do as ol' Vance Havner used to say, "come apart & rest awhile, or just plain come apart!" We'd certainly hate to see you come apart Rose. Your blog is valuable as you are to us, but do what the Lord is leading you to do. I have confidence that you will. May the Lord bless you, Rosemeister.
I think you need some rest too. Blogging is hard work, especially for someone who puts as much thought and work into it as you do. I haven't had time to participate in any blogs for several weeks myself. I hope you make it back though. I've always loved your blog and you have been a blessing.
Hi David,
You're a blessing too brother. I always love your comments and your grace.
I love you so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
:D Your kindness has been so inspirational to me personally. You are dear no matter if I see you at the refreshed end of my blog roll! I'm going to keep on sharing my favorite tv show with you and the rest of the world over at facebook, so stop on by when you get bored. There, all better right? (I knew my show would do that for you. ;)

Maybe you just need some time to be refreshed in the Lord, just go aside for awhile and enjoy time just with you and the Lord!!!!
I love you Rose!!!!! In the Lord!!!! It's only because of Him that we truly can love and be loved!!!!! You been a GREAT Mom to me, you came and saw about me when I was wounded and hurting. And they were ALL self aflicted wounds! But you were firm when you needed to be and all the time forgiving and loving to me! You are special!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :):):)
I feel the presence of that guy with the BIG stick that's been following me! Before He strikes I meant . . . "With" the Lord!!!!! Calm down Jim, it was just a slip, I'm getting better, I've moved up to fifth grade :)
I felt that way a few years ago about my faith blog.. seemed that I just lacked the inspiration to write. Then I decided to write about other things.. started a different kind of blog and got my writer mojo back :)
Blogging has to be fun.. hope you find it to be that way again Rose.
Rose, I just went a whole month between posts, and I'm new at this. I was waiting for something to say.
Coming to your blog when you're not posting will be a little like visiting a favorite stream and finding it a dry river bed - but knowing the spring rains are coming soon!
You'll return to writing with new enthusiasm and energy when you have a message burning a hole through you to get out. Until then, enjoy the break!

Hi Rose,
I know the feeling. :o(
However, sometimes there is a good debate going and before we know it, we're in and someone replies and the show is on the road again.
Must be hard, though, trying to come up with new subjects. My blog is a nice easy one - once or twice a week with nothing ever controversial on it.
I would miss your blog if you ever jacked it in, though.
Maybe a rest would do you good?
Regards,

Ditto, Rose, on all the above.
You rock.
Because you are a blessing from Him.
Just go where He tells you...
Come to Rose's and chill.
