Give me a greeting when you visit. I appreciate nice-ness.
You can address another blogger ... and even disagree with them, that is fine. All I ask is that you leave censure and hand-slapping to me.
Speak up ... about the posts.
Be nice!
Earl - As I write, teach Sunday School, I think of people like you in my audience. It gives me a sanity check of what I am saying. Would what I say pass the "crap" or sanity check of you or others that I know?
Todd - With blogs like this one there is plenty to be hopeful for in the blogsphere.
Matthew - Its nice to read an edifying Christian blog ... You are so level-headed.
Mark - You're real! The blogosphere needs more real people like you around.
Loren - I'll bet you stay up late nights thinking about all the theology that must be swimming through your head. I just want to say that it's great to see the ways in which God is challenging you, and using you to minister through your blog. The things you, and others here, have shared, are very thought provoking!
Come now, and let us reason together, says the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. (Isaiah 1:18)

Our power was out for over two days. It is amazing how much can pile up in your inbox over such a brief period. Now I feel behind on what is going on in the blogosphere, but this might be a good thing?
That is tough. I'm also glad you're back to the 21st century! We once were out of power 8 days & that was tough!! It certainly made me thankful for what we have, but the sad truth is I also was reminded that I still have the sinful flesh to deal with!
Antonio, The neighbor across the street went out and bought a generator and was nice enough to let us plug in our refrigerator with a long extension cord.
David, WOw! 8 days! 4 days was the longest we ever went - in March and it was cold cold cold - an ice storm caused the trouble then. Yes, I was pretty sinfully impatient when the power went off in the middle of me cooking a stir fry in the electric wok and suddenly was in near dark with an 18 month old baby at my feet who had pulled a bunch of stuff out of the cupboards. I was really hungry and our air conditioning had ben broken so the house was a real hott box. It was not a pretty sight at first.

Dude,
like I have never had the power out at my house that long! How on earth did you survive?
My only memories of outages (i have had maybe 2 in the last year) is only a few hours.
Anyway, glad you are back
