Give me a greeting when you visit. I appreciate nice-ness.
You can address another blogger ... and even disagree with them, that is fine. All I ask is that you leave censure and hand-slapping to me.
Speak up ... about the posts.
Be nice!
Earl - As I write, teach Sunday School, I think of people like you in my audience. It gives me a sanity check of what I am saying. Would what I say pass the "crap" or sanity check of you or others that I know?
Todd - With blogs like this one there is plenty to be hopeful for in the blogsphere.
Matthew - Its nice to read an edifying Christian blog ... You are so level-headed.
Mark - You're real! The blogosphere needs more real people like you around.
Loren - I'll bet you stay up late nights thinking about all the theology that must be swimming through your head. I just want to say that it's great to see the ways in which God is challenging you, and using you to minister through your blog. The things you, and others here, have shared, are very thought provoking!
Come now, and let us reason together, says the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. (Isaiah 1:18)

A gal from my town found my blog and gave me an award. I don't know her and she doesn't know me. I thought it was interesting, though. In her post she said I was "preachy" LOL
Well, you're the second person who has decided to go by anonymous when commenting on my blog. The other one is doing it because of feeling watched. I call that OPPRESSION!
My wife got one of those awards too for her blog, Make and Do
Congratulations Rose!
by the way, I know the feeling about being watched. Many companies routinely check potential employees activity on the web in blogs, etc. -- and even check up on their current employees postings. Being able to Google has its pluses and minuses. It is done in the name of protecting trade secrets and making sure there is not any hate speech or harassing that could cause lawsuits.
Congradulations on your award!!!! I believe it's well deserved!!!! How is your rollerblading coming along? I set mine aside for awhile, it was causing my right heel problems. My running has been going good though, just about to go out for a couple miles. I never have told you how beautiful your sight is. I heard Diane say that, she is very thoughtful and just reminded me on how I had never said anything about it. It's really cool!!!!! And I love the colors also on the other blogs. Your group, I'm kind of a GREEN FREAK!!!! I got me a an electra bicycle to tootle around on, it's called orange cycle, kinda looks like one of those popcycles in color. And has green flames. It's fun!!!!
My wife also loves the colors on your sight, she isn't a blogger though. She just keeps me in line, and thumps me on the head every once in awhile when I get onry!
Earl, That is an interesting blog by your wife. Are you "papa" on that family blog?
She does a lot fo things around the house! wow. Is she referring to you as "the professor"? :~)
As to being watched: The kind of watching I was htinking about is done by other bloggers who have deemed themselves the fellowship police. ;~) Such people would probably never bother you, Earl. :~)
Alvin, There is actually snow on the ground here in NW Ohio. It is suddenly winter... yik! So no rollerblading. Sorry about your right heel.
Thanks for the compliment on the graphics here. I appreciate that so much! I stayed up all night a couple of years ago doing it. It was tricky cuz you gotta figure out html code to make the graphics look right.
Green is my favoraite color. :~)
Your picture is neat!!! I especially like the saying on the wall hanging behind you.
Hi Rose, You inquired about my alter ego -- Papa, the secret name I go by for my grandson. He doesn't know about Earl Flask and his weird world. Someday, when he is ready, we might tell him. Very few of my friends know about Earl.
...and the professor. Well, I'm a professor wannabe. I'm not good at it. But I have an irritating way of pontificating. Imagine talking with me as I speak in the style of my blog. There must be a "Blogger's Anonymous" that I can join for help. "Hi, my name is Papa and I am a blogger..."

Alright. I know who that is and I don't know why you are going by 'anonymous.' Do you feel 'watched'? :~)
By Rose~, at 11/20/2008 2:08 PM
It's easier going by anonymous anyways so that I do not have to log out of my gmail account to log in my blog name for here.
I do feel watched and thanks for asking!

Earl,
That comment made me laugh out loud!
You do have a gift for that.
I think I will create a "Wittiest Blogger Award" and give it to you. :~)+
