We Interrupt Our Regularly Scheduled Programming for ...Some of my Designs
All of these sermons can be heard by clicking on my church's website:

Sadly, Pastor De Courcy will be leaving our church at the end of this month; he has taken a church in California. I think these sermons will be available to listen to until that time.

I thank God for the opportunity to have done these things and to have worked at the church that is such a huge blessing to us.

Very good.
The boots in the one picture must have been left just outside Rose's front door.

Matthew,
Thanks. Yes, those are John's boots and an old Bible I had. When I took that picture (specifically for that series cover) three autumns ago, I had no idea how controversial some people think that Bible is! I had no idea the significance of my using that Bible ... in that photo ... for that series. (teehee)

Oh, I did not notice it was a Scofield Bible.

Matthew,
Yes, we do the shoes off thing mostly. :~)

And I have a Scofield Bible too (except its an Old Scofield, not a new one).

Rose,
Excellent photos and artwork. Beautifully done!

Rose,
Beautiful work! Thanks for sharing.
Old Scofield?
I bought two of them right after I trusted Christ as my Savior -- went through Bible College and then preaching for 15 years. It disintegrated.. The second one is intact but it will remain so because I can no longer see to read it..
My computer Bible works well..
Old Scofield -- Yessss!
Glad you have a church who appreciates the fundamentals of the faith.

Rose, thanks for the link. I am sure with your recommendation these sermons are reasonably inspiring. I'll take a listen when I have a chance. Your covers are wonderful. I am always impressed with your design work!

Rose,
tis' good stuff... love it!
Oh yeah, you will be needing a FG pastor.
Where do I send the resume?

Thank you all of you for your generous words of encouragement.
Antonio,
Are you a GARBC-minded person? Because I think we will be looking for a GARBC-minded pastor, since we are a GARBC church) :~)
I am sure there are still FG-minded GARBC men in the pastorate. Dr. Ernest Pickering was. (see sidebar link)
Send me your resume, teehee.
By Rose~, at 9/07/2007 8:39 AM
Rose, Thanks for the insight into your church. I have read that book by Earnest Pickiring that you have posted in your sidebar. It is a great response to MacArthur.

Would Antonio need to get a haircut for the GARBC?
By Matthew Celestine, at 9/07/2007 2:17 PM
Rose, the Lord has certainly given you a gift & you are using it well. God Bless you sister!
I am excited to heear about bro. Pickering! I was not aware that he was free grace. I appreciate the GARBC. Where is the sidebar link you mention, Rose? Take care & as ol' Liver & Onions man would say, carry on in free grace!

rose~, Good morning to you. It was so exciting to come and view these designs. How gifted are you!!! (From the first time I ever clicked on to your site, I fell in love with the serenity of your banner and wondered how one could do that.) I just discovered a week ago how to design a banner for my blog. I'd been so tired of the blah thing at the top. I got so excited that I created two more. Then I started designing cards and stationary headers for my granddaughters for Christmas.
I didn't even know the program was in my computer all these years! I just started playing one night because I was bored and couldn't sleep. Isn't that amazing!? Anyway, thanks for sharing your designs. I love them! selahV

You're right, Luke. It really is.

Bob, Brian, KC and Angela, Thanks! I mean it.
Selah and Bob, I gotta click those links now. Thanks for that kind compliment, Selah.

Bob, your link didn't work.
By Rose~, at 9/10/2007 12:07 PM
Rose!! Thank you for pointing me to that excellent work of Dr. Pickering's! He hit it right on! And he was so gracious in doing so. Thanks again & God Bless.
By David Wyatt, at 9/10/2007 10:39 PM
David,
I am so glad you enjoyed it. He was a great man of God. He passed away a couple of years ago. Had you heard of him before?
